This was announced by the Prime Minister of Iraq, Adel Abdul Mahdi.
He noted that strategic alternatives were prepared in case of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
This statement was made after threats from Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz, which is one of the most important routes of oil transportation in the world and the reason of the tensions between Iran and the United States.
