It is forbidden to give gifts to relatives of civil servants in West Kazakhstan region

Uralsk. October 21. KazTAG - It is forbidden to give gifts to relatives of civil servants in the West Kazakhstan region,  reports "My City" portal.
“There were restrictions on accepting gifts before. According to the latest changes in legislation, the responsibility for giving and receiving gifts has been increased. Officials cannot accept any gifts, regardless of the price of presentation. For receiving a gift worth up to two MCIs, one will pay a 600 MCI fine and will be dismissed from his/her position. For receiving a gift over two MCIs, one can be brought to criminal liability. It should be noted that the responsibility for giving gifts is 200 MCI. It is worth noting that officials should not accept not only material gifts, but also services such as vouchers, invitations to tourist and health-improving trips," he said.
Gifts cannot be given not only to government officials, but also to their close relatives.
