Italy increased import of Kazakh oil by 21.5% in January-May

Astana. July 9. KazTAG - Kazakhstan increased exports of crude oil and gas condensate in Italy in January-May 2014 to 8.84 million tons to $ 7.27 bln, which is 21.5% up in quantity and 17.6% up in cost in comparison to the same period in 2013, reports the Customs Control Committee of the Ministry of Finance.

As noted in the published data, excluding the countries of the Customs Union, Kazakhstan increased oil exports in January-May 2014 to 31.35 million tons to $ 25.5 bln, which is 7.5% up in quantity and 4.8% up in sum against the same period in 2013.

The largest consumers of Kazakh oil were: Italy - 8.84 million tons (21.5%) to $ 7.27 billion (17.6%), China - 3.82 million tons (-13%) to $ 3.03 billion (-15.9%), the Netherlands - 3.65 million tons (-25.6%) to $ 2.99 billion (-26.9%), France - 3.09 million tons (12.9%) to $ 2.63 billion (10.6%), Switzerland - 2.24 million tons (24.2%) to $ 1.73 billion (17.7%), Austria - 2.17 million tonnes (0, 7%) to $ 1.64 billion (-2.4%) and Romania - 1.69 million tons (+59.9%) to $ 1.31 billion (+53.8%).
