Pavlodar. January 27. KazTAG - Journalists were allowed in the court's room where the verdict on the inDriver case has been pronounced, said Dina Smailova, head of "Не молчи" public fund.
"Journalists were not allowed in the court's room where the verdict was pronounced to the driver of inDriver service," she said on Monday.
As it was reported, the driver is charged with raping a woman and stealing an expensive phone on June 2 2019. The man was found and detained, but pre-trial investigation was initiated only under Art. 120 (rape), while the victim was insisting also on the Art. 191 (theft).
On October 1, investigation was also initiated in respect of the investigators in Pavlodar  for red tape and poor quality of the investigation, Amantay Aubakirov, head of the police department of the Pavlodar region took special control of the investigation. It was reported that the investigation was conducted not only on the fact of rape, but also on the theft of property - a cell phone.
