Jury selection started for Kazakhstani student in Boston

Almaty. July 1. KazTAG - Jury selection began with 225 potential jurors brought into the federal courthouse to take part in the trial of Azamat Tazhayakov, reports Foxnews.

"Jury selection began Monday with 225 potential jurors brought into the federal courthouse and asked to fill out questionnaires. Another large group will be brought on Tuesday," the message reports.

Tazhayakov is not charged with having anything to do with the bombings.

As reported, two Kazakhstani students of Massachusetts University- Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev were detained on suspicion of ties with one of the bombers of Boston marathon Dzhokhar Tsarnayev.

Later the investigation revealed the students violated the US visa regime. Both were charged hindering investigation eliminating the evidences on May 1 2013. They may be sentenced up to 25 years imprisonment. Neither of them admits his fault.
