Kairat Boranbayev's prison term reduced to six years in prison

Astana. September 18. KazTAG - Businessman Kairat Boranbayev's prison term has been reduced to six years.
A new court decision regarding Boranbayev was announced on Friday in Astana.
The preventive measure for the businessman remains the same.
The court also ordered the confiscation of his property.
Businessman Roman Nakhanov was also sentenced to six years, and former deputy chairman of the national company QazaqGaz Taiyr Zhanuzak was sentenced to five years.
Boranbayev was sentenced to eight years in prison on March 31. On September 14, the financial monitoring agency reported that Boranbayev returned assets worth T120 billion to the state.
