Kairat Umarov appointed as First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan

Astana. October 7. KazTAG - Kairat Umarov has been appointed as First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, reports Akorda.
“By the order of the head of state, Kairat Umarov was appointed as First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan,”  said  the statement.
From September 2020, Umarov worked as Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Austria (from October 2021 - in Slovenia concurrently), at the same time, he was the Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to international organizations in Vienna, before that, from January 2017, he was the Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the UN, from  January 2013, he worked as Kazakhstan's ambassador to the United States.
