Kalachi dwellers to be resettled in 2015-2016
Astana. December 23. KazTAG - The residents of Kalachi village in Akmola region will be resettled in 2015-2016, up to 2 bln tenge will be needed for that, said Sergey Kulagin, head of the region.
"When I visited this place for the first time I though that it was necessary to resettle people from there. First, so to say the village is depressive... Preliminarily we calculated that within 2 bln tenge will be needed," he said.
The akim indicated the money will be allocated and resettlement will start in the second half 2015 and finish in 2016.
In his words, working families and families with children will be the first to be resettled.
Today 223 families, including 106 children live in the village. 70% of people are ready to move, those, who disagree, are mainly retired people.
As it was previously reported numerous cases of "sleeping dropsy" have been registered in the village.
