Kashagan resumed the oil production

Astana. May 20. KazTAG - Kashagan has resumed oil production after repairs, informs the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
“On May 19, after successful completion of the first scheduled preventive maintenance on production facilities, oil production at the Kashagan was resumed 10 days earlier than planned. On the same day, the level of daily production reached 70 thousand barrels,” - the report said on Monday.
The ministry assured that work on increasing production to full capacity utilization will continue, and in early June Kashagan should reach production levels of 370-400 thousand barrels per day.
At present, the commissioning of the equipment of the sea and land complexes, testing of instrumentation and automatic control systems of technological processes continues.
Recall, on April 14, the operator of the Kashagan field launched a scheduled overhaul at the Bolashak plant and the D island with a full stop of production.
