Kazakh citizens resold cars to Russia because of favorable exchange rates - Ministry of Industry and Construction

Astana. September 26. KazTAG – Kazakhstani people resold cars to Russia because of the favorable exchange rate, said Azamat Panbayev, chairman of the industrial development committee of the Ministry of Industry and Construction, reports “Voice of the People”.
“Taking into account the shortage that arose at that time, a decision was made to saturate the domestic market. And do not sell directly from production abroad. Nevertheless, Kazakhstani people bought cars from car dealerships and resold them to our neighbors. This problem existed for six months, now this problem has been settled, now all cars are available on the market,” said Azamat Panbaev, chairman of the industrial development committee of the Ministry of Industry and Construction.
According to him, for six months, due to the favorable exchange rate of the ruble against the tenge, Russian citizens actively traveled to Kazakhstan to buy foreign cars, which were no longer sold in the Russian Federation due to the war.
He emphasized that the exchange rate difference between the ruble and tenge played an important role.
