Kazakhstan agrees to become member of OPEC+ monitoring committee
Astana. January 23. KazTAG - Kazakhstan has agreed to become a member of OPEC+ monitoring committee, said Kanat Bozumbayev, Minister of Energy.
"Kazakhstan has been invited in the committee. We agreed. It indicates growing authority in the international oil and gas business as Kazakhstan has been invited in such a solid company," he said to the journalists.
He said this year oil production is expected to make 89 mln tons against 90.35 mln last year.
Kazakhstan is the second after Russia oil biggest producer on the post-Soviet space.
