Kazakhstan and Bahrain agreed to launch direct flights
Astana. April 14. KazTAG - Kazakhstan and Bahrain agreed to launch direct air flights.
"The negotiations and the official visit of Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa boost interaction on a wide range of issues," said Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, during negotiations with the Sheikh.
"We decided to create a business council, intergovernmental commission between our states and negotiated launch of direct air flights between the states," he said.
The King of Bahrain ordered to provide the visa for Kazakhstani people directly at the airport.
The parties did not name the air companies which will operate the flights.
Nazarbayev said Bahrain supported the initiatives of Kazakhstan.
"Hopefully Bahrainwill support our state's bid for nonentity membership in the UN Security Council. Being a member of CICMA Bahrain plans to contribute into the transformation process. Manama will join the work of Islamic Organization on food security issues," he said.
Bahrain also declared intention to take part in EXPO-2017.
