Kazakhstan and Canada will create a business council on trade and economic partnership

Astana. June 11. KazTAG - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbaev during a visit to Canada on June 8-9, met with Foreign Minister John Baird and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Consular Service Lin Jelic, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan.

At the meeting with  Minister of Citizenship and Immigration of Canada Chris Alexander E.Ashikbayev focused on visa issues, including simplification and liberalization of the visa regime.
"E.Ashikbaev noted the importance of opening in Toronto Consulate of Kazakhstan and stressed the need for the issuance of visas to Canadian citizens in Astana, Kazakhstan", - stated in the release.
Recall turnover of Kazakhstan and Canada in 2012-2013. exceeded $ 6 billion, noted the development of cooperation in oil and gas, uranium and agricultural sectors, as well as in education.
