Kazakhstan and Korea built economic and political cooperation from green field - Nazarbayev
Astana. April 23. KazTAG - Kazakhstan and Korea built their economic and political cooperation from green field, said Nursultan Nazarbayev, president of Kazakhstan.
"I am glad to greet you in Kazakhstan. Since the first days of our Independence we have had kind relations with South Korea. We built our economic and political cooperation from green field. We highly appreciate your interest in Kazakhstan and Central Asia," the press-service cites N. Nazarbayev from the meeting with Korean leader Moon Jae-in.
The first president of Kazakhstan emphasized effectiveness of economic and political cooperation between two states.
He indicated importance of performance of inter-Korean agreements reached between South Korea and North Korea.
“You are dealing with a difficult task - establishing peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula. It is very difficult, but it is a noble task. We are ready to support your efforts, ” said Nazarbayev.
In turn, the South Korean president thanked the first president of Kazakhstan for the meeting and noted that the current visit is important in the context of the development of bilateral relations.
