Kazakhstan and Pakistan conducting joint military exercises
Astana. August 22. KazTAG - Kazakhstan and Pakistan are conducting joint exercises of special departments, reports the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.
"The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan is conducting a joint tactical and special exercise Dostarym-2019 with the special forces of Kazakhstan and Pakistan at the Novo-Akhmirovo training ground of the Vostok regional command," said the statement.
The defense department said that the exercise is divided into two stages with corresponding tasks in each.
“Special forces of two states will work out identification, blocking and destruction of illegal armed groups," said the message.
According to the Ministry of Defense, a total of more than 200 troops, about 30 units of military and special equipment, as well as army aviation, are involved in the exercises.
