Kazakhstan and South Korea will sign agreement on visa-free travel within the states

Astana. June 10. KazTAG - Zhanbolat Mamyshev. Agreement on visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and South Korea will be signed during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Korea Park Keun Hye in Kazakhstan on June 18-20, said Deputy of Foreign Minister Alexei Volkov.
"I would like to draw attention to the total number of signed documents - their 17. Among them are three documents that will be signed in the presence of heads of state. I would particularly like to draw your attention to the agreement between the governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea on mutual abolition of visa requirements, "- he said at a press briefing after a meeting of the government on Tuesday.
"We managed to reach an agreement by which the citizens of Kazakhstan and Korea, holders of ordinary passports can enter without a visa in our country for up to 1 month. This is due to the development of tourism, medicine, scientific technology, student exchange, and so forth, "- said Alexander Volkov.
According to him, other agreements will be signed for the construction of the Balkhash thermal power plants, gas-chemical complex units in the Atyrau region and development of the "Zhambyl" field, a number of memorandums between the railways, the Ministries of Justice, in the field of geology and mineral resources in the field of education.
Recall, on June 18-20, South Korean President Park Keun will have a state visit to Kazakhstan.
