Kazakhstan and Tatarstan plan to develop trade-economic cooperation
Astana. January 29. KazTAG - Yerbolat Dosayev, Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, declared about intention of Kazakhstan to expand trade-economic cooperation with Tatarstan, reports the press-service of the Ministry.
The first session of Kazakhstan-Tatarstan working group on trade economic cooperation took place in Astana covering a number of issues.
"We have ongoing and fruitful trade-economic relations. Kazakhstan has adjusted interaction with almost each subject of the Russian Federation, cooperation with Tatarstan plays a big role," the press-service cites Dosayev.
The Minister indicated that Kazakhstan and Russia have been long standing strategic partners and allies.
He indicated that the commodity circulation between Kazakhstan and Tatarstan makes only 3-4% of the total trade volume with Russia.
"I believe it must be increased. The world crisis indicates necessity of cooperation development, especially in the field of investments, agriculture, science and technologies," said Dosayev.
