Astana. February 13. KazTAG - Kazakhstan and Turkey plan to boost military cooperation, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebayev met Nadjdet Ozelem, chief commander of the general headquarters of the Military forces of Turkey in Ankara.
"The parties shared opinion concerning hot cooperation issues, including military and military-technical cooperation," reads the message.
Ozelem indicated the main directions of interaction in the military field, training of Kazakhstani soldiers in the educational institutions of Turkey, preparation and equipment of Kazakhstani military units, assistance of military forces formation.
