Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan opened motorway of international significance
Astana. July 18. KazTAG - Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have opened a motorway of international significance, reports the press-service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
"Askar Mamin, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, and Abdullah Aripov, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, took part in the opening ceremony of the motorway of international significance Beineu-Akzhigit-border of Uzbekistan," the message reports.
The head of Kazakhstani Government emphasized importance of the motorway for development of transport infrastructure in Central Asia, increase of trade volume and performance of transit potentials.
According to Mamin "it is symbolic that the project was performed in the year of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, took part in the opening ceremony of it".
Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Aripov marked strategic importance of the event for two states.
