Kazakhstan approved the agreement with China on military-technical cooperation

Astana. May 22. KazTAG - The goverment of Kazakhstan approved the agreement on military-technical cooperation with China, reported the agency.
The objectives of the agreement are called “the establishment and further development of mutually beneficial military-technical cooperation on the basis of the principle of equality between the parties in accordance with the national legislation of the parties".
"The parties cooperate in the following main areas: the implementation of mutual deliveries of military products, including weapons, military equipment, work, services, intellectual property, including exclusive rights to them (intellectual property), and information in the military-technical sphere, design, regulatory, technical, technological and operational documentation, as well as any other products related to the national legislation of the states of the parties to the military supplies,”- the agreement says.
In addition, the document provides for the maintenance and repair of weapons and military equipment, as well as the creation of joint ventures, joint ventures for the development, production, repair, modernization and disposal of military products "as agreed by the authorized bodies of the parties".
Parties are agreed not to sell or transfer to a third party weapons, military equipment or technical documentation for their production, received from the other party.
