Kazakhstan asked US for assistance in investigating death of adopted girl from Kostanay

Astana. November 6. KazTAG - The Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan has sent a letter to the US Embassy in Kazakhstan asking for assistance in the investigation after the death of an adopted girl from Kostanay.
"The Committee sent a letter to the US Embassy in Kazakhstan asking for assistance in conducting an objective and comprehensive criminal investigation into the death of a child," reads the statement. October 6, the author of the project "Kazakh Children Abroad" Zhanar Baisemizova-Kolesnikova reported that 26-year-old Dinara committed suicide. Dinara was adopted by a couple from the USA at the age of six. She and another child were taken from an orphanage in Kostanay. KazTAG reported that currently agencies for foreign adoption of Kazakhstani children are not working because they are no longer needed.
