Kazakhstan bans import and sale of five Ukrainian cheese brands
Astana. April 11. KazTAG - Kazakhstan has banned import and sale of five brands of the Ukrainian manufacturers, reports the Agency on Protection of Consumers' rights.
"According to the regulations of the article 5 and 9 of the agreement of the Customs Union on sanitary measures dated December 11 2009 and the law "On protection of consumers' rights" chief sanitary doctor Zhandarbek Bekshin signed a decree banning import and sale of the following Ukrainian manufacturers: "Ros" branch of "Akhtyr cheese plant", "Piryatinskiy cheese plant", "Gadyachsyr", "Zolotosh butter plant", "Techmolprom" as the volume of proteins, fat and liquid do not meet the norms which is violation of the law on protection of consumers' rights," reads the message.
