Kazakhstan considers EEU agreement as "limit of international integration" for nearest decade
Astana. May 26. KazTAG-Kazakhstan considers the agreement on Eurasian Economic Union " as a limit of integration interaction" for the nearest decade, said Damat Ordabayev, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs.
"This is that level of integration and creation of supranational body Kazakhstan is ready for. Not more. We need to develop new education, to adjust economy. Life will show, but for now, I think it is for several decades, it is a limit of integration interaction Kazakhstan is ready for," he said.
The EEU agreement stipulates supranational regulator.
"In the period of CIS history there were many unions. As a whole, our union differs, as there wasn't a supranational regulator. In this case it is Eurasian commission. Many decisions had obligatory character, and now we have an element of obligation. To avoid confusion we are talking about 3 formats of interaction within the CIS," he said.
In his words, CICMA is targeted on political and military cooperation, the CIS is basically focused on humanitarian cooperation, the EEU will work on economic issues.
