Kazakhstan developing law amendments "On protection of consumers’ rights"
Astana. May 4. KazTAG - Kazakhstan is developing new law "On protection of consumers' rights", said Bolatbek Kuandykov, chair of the agency on p[protection of consumers rights.
"The agency commenced development of a new concept of the draft law - new edition of the law "On consumers’ rights" based on the best advanced experience," he said.
"The new law will set the order of protection of consumers’ rights on sale of goods, works and services," he added.
The new law will define authority of state bodies and the points of protection of consumers' rights.
According to Kuandykov, besides legislative measures the agency is developing measures in order to increase legal literacy of consumers.
The draft law will stipulate state support for public unions.
