Kazakhstan experiencing deficit of qualified staff with technical and engineering skills

Astana. November 28. KazTAG - Kazakhstani companies lack of qualified specialists with technical or engineering skills, said Aslan Sarinzhipov, Minister of Education and Science.
"There are problems of lack and low qualification of staff with technical and engineering skills. There is also deficit of staff on scientific, engineering specialties and innovational management," he said at the board of the Ministry dedicated to fulfillment of November message of the President "Nurly zhol- the way to the future".
In his words, the authorized agency must prepare necessary specialists by 2020 to solve the problem.
"We must prepare 10 000 qualified staff on priority branches of the state program of industrial innovational development. Among them there are such branches as metallurgy, petrochemistry, food production, chemical industry, construction materials, mechanical engineering," he said.
Ten universities of Kazakhstan will get 10 bln tenge from the National Fund.
