Astana. February 4. KazTAG - Kazakhstan fails to cover its domestic demand in apples, farmer cheese, and poultry, said Saparkhan Omarov, Minister of Agriculture.
“As for main types of foodstuffs, supply makes 80 per cent or more, and for some - more than 100%. The exception is in six products: apples (69.5%), fish (62%), sausages (61.1%), cheese and farmer cheese (58.4%), sugar (54.4%) and poultry (51.2%), there is still import dependence on them," said Omarov said.
