Kazakhstan has no plans to impose restrictions on petrol import from Russia - Mynbayev
Astana. February 10. KazTAG - Kazakhstan has not plans to impose restrictions on light hydrocarbons import from Russia, said Sauat Mynbayev, head of KazMunayGas national company
"Now the volume of import from Russia is higher than the volumes prescribed by the indicative balance before. However, as I understand, no decisions on oil products restriction from Russia has been taken, I don't know any documents like that. As I understand, there won't be any restrictions," he said at the briefing dedicated to KMG activity.
In his words, the traditional volume of light hydrocarbons shipment from Russia to Kazakhstan makes 1.8 mln tons a year. This volume was annually defined and confirmed by the indicative balance of hydrocarbons between Kazakhstan and Russia.
He indicated some signs of internal market overstocking with light hydrocarbons.
