Kazakhstan increased gas export to Ukraine by 16.4% in 2014

Astana. February 2. KazTAG- Natural gas export from Kazakhstan to Ukraine made up 8.2 bln cu m to $1.3 bln in 2014, 16.4% up in volume and 8.4% in sum year on year, reports the customs control committee of the Ministry of Finance.
According to the reported data, without accounting the Customs Union's states, natural gas export from Kazakhstan made up 12 bln cu m in 2014 to $1.7 bln, 2.9% down in volume and 3.9% in sum year on year.
The main consumers of Kazakhstani gas were: Ukraine - 8.2 bln cu m (+16.4%) to $1.3 bln (+8.4%), Switzerland - 3 bln cu m (-19.1%) to $221.3 mln (-18.3%), Poland- 195.9 mln cu m (-85.8%) to $26 mln (-86.4%), China- 425.4 mln cu m (5.9 times up) to $51 mln (5.9 times up), Kyrgyzstan- 210.6 mln cu m (+0.3%) to $51.1 mln (+3.6%).
The average price for 1 000 cu m of gas was $138.6, for Ukraine _ $160.1, for Switzerland- $74.5, for Poland- $132.7, for China- $120, Kyrgyzstan- $242.8
