Kazakhstan intends to receive $ 3 million grant from ADB to fight COVID-19

Astana. October 26. KazTAG - The authorities of Kazakhstan intend to receive a $3 million grant from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to combat COVID-19.
"Approve the attached draft grant agreement (Asia-Pacific Disaster Response Fund) (COVID-19 emergency response project) between the Republic of Kazakhstan and ADB. Authorize the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aleksey  Tsoi, on behalf of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to sign a grant agreement (Asia-Pacific Disaster Response Fund) (COVID-19 emergency response project) between the Republic of Kazakhstan and ADB, "reads the draft decree of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev,  President of Kazakhstan .
The government has already prepared a draft resolution on introduction of the draft decree for consideration by the head of state.
“ADB is committed to providing $3 million to the recipient from the resources of the Asia-Pacific Disaster Response Fund of ADB," reads the report.
