Kazakhstan is to ban airlines from boarding passengers without PCR tests

Astana. October 27. KazTAG - A selector meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission uunder the chairmanship of Askar Mamim, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, was held to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection on the territory of Kazakhstan, reports the press-service of the Government.
“Minister of Health A. Tsoy, Minister of Internal Affairs - E. Turgumbayev, Minister of Information and Social Development - A. Balayeva, First Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development K. Uskenbayev, as well as akims reported on the measures taken to ensure preparedness for the second wave of coronavirus infection. The prime  minister indicated low efficiency of the monitoring groups to ensure control over the observance of restrictive measures, weak work to ensure compliance with the quarantine regime  and sanitary requirements by business entities, tracing contact persons and patients, ” reads the report.
The prime minister instructed the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development to prohibit airlines from boarding passengers without certificates of PCR test results.
