"Last year we issued 43 000 entry visas for ethnic Kazakhs. We issued about 8000 in 2018. It was due to the agreement with the Government of China following the state visit of our President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Beijing," said Tleuberdi.
In his words, the visa for ethnic Kazakhs (citizens of China) is issued for free with facilitated regime of gaining citizenship.
"43 000 of entry visas is not only one time visas, they are multi-entry visas for three years. They are available for free. Ethnic Kazakhs coming from China get facilitated regime for becoming nationalized," he added.
