“The Eurasian Civil Aviation Conference which includes Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, held its first meeting in Almaty with the participation of the aviation authorities of the participating countries,” the press service of the ministry said in a statement.
The countries believe that the new organization will help to express a consolidated position within the framework of work with such global industry institutions as ICAO, the European Commission, IATA and other international organizations. It is planned to create a platform for cooperation between the aviation authorities of the member states in the Eurasian region, facilitating effective coordination and interaction.
