Almaty May 23. KazTAG - Kazakhstan lifted a ban on the import of potatoes, apples and persimmons from Kyrgyzstan, said the Kyrgyz Telegraph Agency (KyrTAG).
This decision was taken after signing the Protocol as a result of the meeting of Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhenish Razakov and Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Zhenis Mahmuduly Kasymbek on February 28, 2019 in Nur-Sultan. Also the parties signed a road map on quarantine phytosanitary control.
Recall, on February 2019, Kazakhstan temporary put a ban on import of apples, potatoes and persimmons from Kyrgyzstan and pomegranate from Uzbekistan.
