Kazakhstan lowered import of Chinese lorries in January-May by more than three times

Astana. July 1. KazTAG - Kazakhstan lowered import of lorries from China in January-May 2014 to 723, their cost made up $16.2 mln, 72.1% down in quantity and 78.2% down in cost year on year, reports the customs control committee of the Ministry of Finance.

According to the published data, without accounting the Customs Union's states Kazakhstan imported 3019 lorries in January-May 2014 to $95.5 mln, 39.9% down in quantity and 38.2% down in cost year on year.

Besides that Kazakhstan imported 21.3 thousand passenger cars (-19.1%) to $433.8 mln (-11.9%), including from Japan 6.7 thousand (-9%) to $202.7 mln (-11.1%), Korea - 3.6 thousand (-9%) to $57.2 mln (-5.2%), Uzbekistan - 3.6 thousand (-40.7%) to $35.2 mln (-1.3%), the US - 2.1 thousand (-29.7%) to $43.1 mln (-16.4%), Great Britain - 1.7 thousand (-30.2%) to $26.5 mln (-44.7%).
