Kazakhstan lowered oil production prognosis by 1.6% in 2015
Astana. January 26. KazTAG - Kazakhstan has lowered oil production prognosis by 1.6% in 2015 to 80.5 mln tons, said Vladimir Shkolnik, Minister of Energy.
"This year we plan to produce 80.5 mln tons of oil. You know, oil price is quite low. In order to provide this production we should take measures to reduce the cost price, it will save expenses and so on," he said.
As it was previously reported, the republican budget 2015-2017 was developed on the base of $80 Brent oil price in 2015. According to the financial document oil production is expected within 81.8 mln tons this year.
