Kazakhstan may produce Turkish ANKA military drones

Almaty. May 12. KazTAG - Turkish military unmanned aerial vehicles  ANKA are planned to be produced in Kazakhstan, said the Turkish company Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii.
“Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii has signed a new cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan, with which an export agreement on ANKA UAVs was signed last year. According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Turkish Aerospace Industries and Kazakhstan Engineering, the ANKA UAV will be jointly produced in Kazakhstan. In addition to joint production, cooperation will be carried out on technology transfer issues, including maintenance and repair processes,” reads the report.
The planned production in Kazakhstan will be the first production base for ANKA UAVs outside of Turkey.
