Kazakhstan needs "well prepared" engineers- Nazarbayev
Astana. February 27. KazTAG - Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev has conducted a meeting with Zheksenbek Adilov, provost of Kazakhstani national technical university after Satpayev, Akorda reports.
"More than 700 objects have been built in the years of industrialization, and also about 70 enterprises which will be launched this year need well prepared engineers. For this big attention has been paid to transformation and universities development lately. In addition, increase of financing, transfer of universities under control of scientific-research institutes are aimed on conditions creation for students for scientific work in the process of education. Unfortunately, the majority of graduates do not aspire to science today, including those, who get scientific degrees," said Nazarbayev.
He added in this context the university will face big tasks of transformation into the research technical university.
