Kazakhstan needs to introduce new technologies for agrarian branch development- Nazarbayev
Astana. July 11. KazTAG - Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev attended "Baiserke-Agro" industrial farm in Almaty region, reports the press-service of the President.
"Food production is becoming the main factor of our country development. The size of population in the world will grow up to 9 bln by 2050 there will be a need to double agrarian production. Kazakhstanhas all the opportunities to do that including huge land areas. At the same time agriculture cannot develop further without attraction of new technologies. We must use all the power of science only this way we will develop in agricultural branch," said Nazarbayev.
The President also watched activity of scientific-industrial center "Baiserke-Agro". The President has been presented new sorts of grain cultures, various types of pesticides and bio-fertilizers, and also vet medicines developed by Kazakhstani scientists. The President also watched modernized types of agricultural technique.
