Astana. December 10. KazTAG - Kazakhstan plans to restore the Silk Way to strengthen the partner ties, said Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
"Kazakhstan has always been a big part of the Great Silk Way. We want to develop transport opportunities to restore and develop the ancient way of people unification. This program represents large space, uniting Europe and Asia, a wide channel of business, humanitarian ties. It is a new chance to strengthen partnership for prosperity of our states," he said at the credentials presentation ceremony in Astana.
The President congratulated new ambassadors with the beginning of diplomatic mission reminding about the crisis period.
"We have initiated implementation of new economic policy "Nurly Zhol". It is a pro active response measure to external changes and forthcoming economic crisis. Its content is connected with promotion of different types of infrastructure in energy, transportation and social fields. We believe it will save and strengthen dynamics of development in Kazakhstan and provide stability in the whole region," he said.
