Astana. May 19. KazTAG - Kazakhstan 6 times provided humanitarian aid to foreign states in 2013 and early 2014, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"In the reported period (2013 and Q1 2014) the Ministry provided humanitarian aid to foreign states 6 times which were affected by scaled disasters," reads the report of Vladimir Bozhko, Minister of Emergency Situations.
The cost of humanitarian aid made up about $978 000 provided to Guatemala, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Sri-Lanka.
"This year food products to 1 million 985 thousand 917 dollars were sent to Afghanistan as humanitarian aid from the state material reserve," reads the report.
379.3 mln tenge have been allocated for a kindergarten construction in Blagoveshensk (Russia) affected by flood.
