Kazakhstan ranks 97th in global mortality rate caused by coronavirus

Astana. January 27. KazTAG - Kazakhstan ranks 97th in the global mortality rate caused by coronavirus, said Alexei Tsoi, Minister of Health.
“Today, in the global ranking of the incidence of COVID-19 per 1 million people, Kazakhstan is in 109th place out of the 221 states. As for the mortality rate, the country is in the 97th place, in the number of people tested for COVID-19 - in the 69th place, in the number of recovered - in the 87th place, in the number of severe cases - in the 50th place ",  he said.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 179 720 patients with a positive result of COVID-19 and 47 445 cases with CVI - have been registered in Kazakhstan. 87% patients have recovered. The workload of infectious diseases hospitals is 31%, resuscitation beds - 19%.
