Kazakhstan ratified protocol on free trade zone with Uzbekistan
Astana. April 14. KazTAG - Kazakhstan ratified a protocol on free trade zone with Uzbekistan, reports the press-service of the President.
"The President has signed the law "On protocol ratification on the agreement on free trade zone dated October 18 2011 with Uzbekistan," reads the message.
According to the conclusion of the committee on economic development and business of Parliament Senate the protocol stipulates duty free regime of mutual trade on import operations without exceptions.
"Within the frameworks of the protocol Kazakhstan has drawn list of goods charged export fees on their import to Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan reserved the right to apply customs fees on goods export to Kazakhstan. At the same time Uzbekistan will not apply customs fees in respect of imported goods coming from the customs territories of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine," reads the conclusion.
