Kazakhstan ratifies agreement with Italy on convicts transfer
Astana. December 5. KazTAG - Kazakhstan has ratified an agreement with Italy on convicts transfer, reports Akorda.
"The President has signed the law "On agreement ratification between Kazakhstan and Italy on convicts transfer," reads the message.
According to the regulations of the agreement an individual convicted on the territory of one side may be transferred to the territory of another side to serve the sentence.
According to Iogan Merkel, deputy chief prosecutor general, the document adoption "does not require additional expenses as we plan to work within the frameworks of the sums which are annually allocated in the budget. It is about 9 mln tenge".
