“The export of Kazakhstani goods to Georgia decreased by 13.8%, to $6.1 million (…) Imports to Kazakhstan from Georgia in January-February 2022 increased fivefold and amounted to $7 million,” reads the statement.
Kazakhstan did not export oil products and gases to Georgia in January-February, but increased 9.6 times to $1.8 million supplies of flat clad rolled products from unalloyed steel, 3.1 times to $1.7 million - ferroalloys, by 58.6% - wheat. Deliveries of shaving and bath products, deodorants increased by 30 times, up to $382,000.
Imports of mineral waters increased by 19.6 times to $4.3 million, wine - by 3.5 times to $1.3 million, strong alcohol by 66% to $254 thousand.
Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Georgia in January-February 2022 increased by 54.6%, to $13.1 million.
