Kazakhstan's plans to supply another 100-150 thousand tons of oil to Germany may be hampered by an accident

Almaty. December 2. KazTAG –Kazakhstan's plans to supply an additional 100-150 thousand tons of oil via Druzhba for export to Germany may be hampered by an accident on the Polish section of the pipeline, reports the Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan telegram channel.
"The accident occurred on the Polish section of the Druzhba pipeline, through which Kazakh oil is exported to Germany," the report said on Monday.
The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan recently stated that the annual contract for the supply of 1.2 million tons of oil to Germany via Druzhba had been fulfilled, but two days later the head of KazMunayGas Askhat Khasenov clarified that KMG plans to send an additional 100-150 thousand tons from the resources of KMG's share in the Karachaganak project via Druzhba by the end of the year.
It is currently unknown whether the accident will affect these plans.
The editorial board of KazTAG made a request to the Ministry of Energy.
Oil of other origin, except for Kazakh, is not pumped via the northern branch of Druzhba after the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions.
An oil leak was discovered near the city of Pniewy in western Poland in the Druzhba pipeline zone. The Polish company PERN, which services the pipeline, immediately turned off a nearby pumping station and later a PERN representative confirmed the leak.
