Astana. April 7. KazTAG - The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has set the poverty line in Kazakhstan in the second quarter 2014. An appropriate decree of the President has been published in the official mass media.
"I order to set the poverty line in the second quarter 2014 at 40% of the cost of living calculated in the past quarter by the Statistics Agency," reads the message.
The decree comes into force since the day of its first official publication.
The cost of living made up 18 045 tenge in March 2014.
