Kazakhstan significantly increased export of margarine and sunflower oil in H1

Astana. August 19. KazTAG – Kazakhstan has significantly increased the export of margarine and sunflower oil in the first half of the year, JSC "QazTrade" reports.
"Kazakhstan's exports of margarine increased the most in the first half of 2022 – by 6.6 times, to $59 million, sunflower oil – by 2.9 times, to $177 million, water – by 90% to $39 million, flour – by 83% to $334 million, pasta and tobacco products – by 33% to $39 million and $37 million, respectively," reads the review of Kazakhstan's foreign trade for January–June 2022.
Kazakhstan increased supplies of flax seeds from raw exports by 82% to $201 million, dried leguminous vegetables by 81% to $36 million, wheat by 54% to $959 million and sunflower seeds by 53% to $74 million and reduced supplies of barley by 45% to $72 million and cotton fiber – by 20% to $38 million.
Non-primary exports of agricultural goods of Kazakhstan for the first half of 2022 amounted to 42.4% or $ 1.1 billion, raw materials 57.5% or $ 1.5 billion.
