Kazakhstan steps one point down in global militarization index to 72nd place
Almaty. December 11. KazTAG - Kazakhstan has been ranked 72nd of 151 in the global militarization index, reports Boston international center for communications (BICC).
This year Kazakhstan has stepped one line down in comparison to previous year. However, in general the position of the state in the index has been constant for the past 9 years.
Israel has been ranked first in the index. In addition Armenia (3 rd place), Russia (5th), and Azerbaijan (10th) are ranked in the top ten in the index. Belarus is ranked 11th.
Kyrgyzstan has been in top ten of the most militarized states of Asia, taking the 9th place in the Asian region and 54th in the general index.
Haiti takes the last place in the index.
