“In January-November 2022, 288.1 thousand tons of iodized salt were produced in Kazakhstan” (…), “248 thousand tons of salt were sent for export,” said the report.
The share of imports accounted for 28.8 thousand tons of salt, or 9.1%.
According to the results of 11 months of 2022, 68.9 thousand tons of iodized salt were sold on the domestic market, thus, Kazakhstan supplies 86% of the produced iodized salt for export.
