Kazakhstan takes 19th place on foreign investors’ attraction
Astana. April 29. KazTAG - Kazakhstan takes the 19th place in the world on foreign investments attraction, said Aset Isekeshev, Vice Prime Minister-Minister of Industry and New Technologies.
"We take 19th place in the world on attraction of direct foreign investments- we are in the top 20 of the leading states on investments attraction. (...) It's according to the United Nations Conference on Trade- and this analysis is published with a year lag, the latest data is for 2012," he said.
In his words the situation with direct foreign investments attraction " is not easy today".
"Look at the situation in the world economy, we see that the global tendency shows decline of direct foreign investments. While there were $2 trln in 2007, there were $1.5 trln in 2012. The decline was more than 30%. The situation did not change much in 2012," he said.
